The PHI is organized in nine research groups, focusing on recent topics of experimental solid-state physics

generalized_flux_qubit_2020 — The generalized flux qubit consists of a Josephson junction shunted by a capacitor and an inductor. The closed superconducting loop formed by the Josephson junction and the inductor is used to tune the qubit spectrum in situ, by applying a magnetic flux.
